This premium postal service guarantees that mailable items received in Amissville by 5 p.m. will be available for customer pickup at the destination by 10 a.m. or delivered by 3 p.m. of the next business day.
Available in many cities since 1977, Express Mail’s success rate of 98.4 percent and money-back guarantee have proven popular with the public. The expansion of the surface Express Mail system to Amissville and other area offices will give local postal customers a convenient and reliable connection to these three major cities. In last week’s edition of the Rappahannock News, it was reported that the new building inspector will be paid $9 per hour. The building official will actually receive S8 per hour. The position is budgeted at S9 per hour to cover employer costs, including contribution for social security.
