Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Pullen visited them recently and had a woodcutting party which gave the Pullen’s plenty of wood to more than finish out the cold weather and a start on next year’s supply. Mr. Pullen has had a long illness. Those helping included Mae Pullen and Russell Pullen of New Baltimore, John Dove of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon O’Meara of Falls Church, Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Pullen and Danny of Goldvein, Howard Pullen of Fairfax and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Smith. Mrs. Pullen prepared and served them a sumptuous dinner.
Virgil Corbin of Manassas visited his mother, Mrs. Nelson Corbin, last Wednesday.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bowey were Mr. and Mrs. Robert LaPlanche of Baltimore, Md. Other recent visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Ankers of Vienna, Calude Carter of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest.
Sunday afternoon callers of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Compton were Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Kines of Warrenton.
C. M. Green, a student at the College of William and Mary at Williamsburg, spent a recent weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Green. C. M. was recovering from a broken arm. x
Dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Bradley were Mr. and Mrs. Coleman Bradley, Timmy and Robbie of Falls Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Doub and Landy have spent two weeks with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Friend and children in Berkley, Calif, and toured the Monterey Peninsula. Mr. Doub returned home Monday and Mrs. Doub and Landy will return later this 'week.
