Henry Hudson, in* vestigator of the Panther Athletic League’s fund drive to build a high school track, formally turned over the finished product to the school board at the March 11 meeting. Talent Show

Sat., March 22

Area young people are invited to participate in the annual talent show sponsored by Amissville Ruritan Club and scheduled for this Saturday, March 22. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. at Rappahnnock County High School.

Students of Rappahannock and surrounding counties are urged to enter the show and compete for the cash prizes offered.

Following the talent show the Bridgewater College Stage Band will entertain for about an hour presenting pop tunes and big band music. The band consists of 35 pieces plus a vocalist. This college band performed here last year and was enthusiastically accepted by the audience which described it as fantastic, wonderful and outstanding, plus many othert plaudits. Popular demand brings the musicians back for a return engagement.

An admission to cover expenses will be charged.
