be represented by Chris Foster, who is expected to have a chance at winning the district championship in both events.

Robert Pendleton and talented first year runner Ray "Flash” Prudhum will compete in the long jump and the 100, 200 and 800 meter relays.

Don Dourghty and Ronnie Jenkins will add strength in the distance events and Paul Keithley should provide the winning margin in the hurdles. Last year, an unfortunate spill cost Keithley what looked like a sure win in the district meet.

Freshman Downing McCoy shows great promise in the pole vault, an event in which RCHS has not usually done well.

For the JV team, Craig Kenyon and Scott Keithley are expected to do well in distance races as are Eugene Grigsby and Harrison Hughes in the high jump and Kevin Harrison in the 440 and mile relay.
