Boys track is just over the hill and coach * Michael Kimble and his squad are prepared for the season to begin.
Coach Kimble looks upon this year as one of rebuilding. He feels, however, that chances are good for his boys to place high in Skyline District if the team develops a good attitude.
“We have the ability to win most of the events but we also need to focus on placing second and third along with first,” he said.
The varsity squad is young and lacks depth, but, even though the roster could use a few more names, this year’s team is the largest ever put together for boys track at RCHS.
The Panthers’ biggest weakness is inexperience. Kimble has only five competitors returning from last year and he’s had to pull up all freshmen and sophomore boys to varsity, leaving the JV with all Beasties.
