Latham HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR Douglas Bywaters of Flint Hill in a state vehicle was clobbered on snow-slick roads last Thursday by an Alexandria motorist, and was hospitalized with broken ribs. The 1978 Dodge truck was struck by a 1979 Ford operated by Monroe Edward Hill who sustained multiple lacerations in the collision. His wife, Thelma S. Hill, also sustained lacerations, according to Trooper Carroll Miller, who added the Hill vehicle struck a ridge of slushy snow, lost control of his car and struck Bywaters.
