26th District Democratic State Senate candidate W. E. “Ernie” Schlabach will be in Rappahannock on Wednesday, September 28, to tour the county.
Schlabach’s “Country Store Tour” will begin in Washington at approximately 10 a.m. in front of the offices of the Rappahannock News. He will be available to interested county citizens to answer questions at that time.
Schlabach’s visit to the county will also feature stops in Chester Gap, Flint Hill, Huntly, Amissville, Washington, Sperryville, Woodville, Viewtown, Castleton, Scrabble and Boston.
In announcing his tour of the county, Schlabach emphasized that one of his goals as a State Senator will be to devote “special attention” to the concerns of the counties in the eastern part of the 26th Senate district, including Rappahannock.
“For too long,” noted Schlaback, “the people of Rappahannock County have been ignored in Richmond.
