For the fall 1983 season, there are 14 days of racing, with more than 80 races spread over a three-month period. Owners and riders will be racing for purses and trophies totalling more than $400,000.
"It's going to be a very exciting season," said William Gallo Jr., assistant racing secretary for the NSHA. "There are several contenders for the Eclipse and NSHA Championship Awards in all of the divisions."
