The summer's almost over and just when you think it's safe to go back to school without missing any of summer's fun and rowdiness, the Stray Cats come out with a new album to make you jump, bop and hop to the music. So wad-a-u-waitin' for? The Stray Cats are back and purrin' on their new album Rant N' Rave.
In their second domestic album, the revivalists of rockabilly (a fusion of early rock and roll and folk music) have again brought back the feeling of the rip-roarin' 50s. The lyrics in these songs, while more commonplace in the 50s, are no less applicable today.
The hit single "She's Sexy + 17" is bound to become this fall's anthem—like Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" ( I don't need no education...') did in 1979. The album is full of yet undiscovered hits. Look out for "Rebels Rule" and "How Long Do Ya Want to Live Anyway. This is an album fora rowdy mood.
