Nancy Schoppet is busy Retting ready for the Boost ers' dance tomorrow night at the high school. Billed as the “Back to School Boogie Two", the event features Rock & Roll, Top 40, and Soul and goes to fund new computer equipment for the school. Tickets are $2. If you know some teenagers, send them. (We understand our Castleton correspondent is too old to go to a dance at the gym).
By the way, our Castleton correspondent who lives in Amissville works in Washington and gets her mail in Warrenton has been looking at cabins in Bear Wallow Hollow from which it is as you know long distance to call Castleton. If you know of some cheap place where she can stay with That Cat, give us a cali. She wants to leave the bustlin metropolitan life of Amissville and get away to a quiet cabin in the pines in the country where she can write this column beside a babbling brook. Ami wouldn’t it be a kick if the Castleton correspondent were to actually live in Castleton?
The biggest birthday celebration last week was (Tah! Tah! l)ah!) in honor of Lillian Frazier. Waverly told her they were going shopping at the Manassas Mall Saturday. Ami when they got there, it was a surprise get-together dinner at the Cheaspeake Seafood House. Ellen Wharton and Mr. & Mrs. Mark Tharpe from < ul pe[>er were there and grand daughters Kim and Karen Colvin from Rapidan and Shannon if ml Tonya Tharpe. Kim stayed Saturday night at Castleton.
