The results of the efforts of these 300 plus volunteers will be on view during an open house at the retreat center on Sunday, September 25, from 2 to 0 p.m. All Rappahannock residents are cordially invited to tour the property and its ten buildings which include a chapel, seven bedroom farmhouse, 14 bedroom youth center, two guest houses, three stocked ponds, swimming pool, tennis court, woodland trails and softball soccer field.
The new Bethany House is quite different from the original. The old Bethany had only six bedrooms for retreatants. It could support only the family program. The new Bethany has 32 bedrooms in five different buildings and will support not only the family retreat program but also many other activities.
