Willis Chapel Homecoming
The Willis Chapel United Methodist Church will have homecoming services Sunday, September 25, with services beginning at 11 a.m.
The Rev. Peter Weems, pastor of the Faith United Methodist Church in Alexandria will be guest speaker for the morning worship service. Rev. Weems is former pastor of the Rappahannock Charge of United Methodist Churches. A covered dish dinner will follow the service. Special music will be provided by the Willis Chapel choir.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will not have 11 a.m. service this Sunday. The pastor, the Rev. Merlin Shorb invites everyone to join them at Willis Chapel homecoming for this joyous occasion.
Chester Gap Baptist
Revival
Revival services will be held at Chester Gap Baptist Church September 25-28. The first service will be on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. followed by the evening service at 6:30 p.m. The service will be held at 7:30 Monday through Wednesday evening.
The Rev. Everett Powell, pastor of the Shenandoah Farms Baptist Church will be the guest speaker. The public is invited.
