Promise Land Baptist
A Deacon and Deaconess Day will be held at Promise Land Baptist near Washington on Sunday, November (1 beginning at 3 p.m.
The Rev. R. C. Davis, his choir and congregation from Zion Baptist Church in Alexandria will be the guests. The public is cordially invited to attend.
Mt. Lebanon Hosts
Missionaries From India
Ted and Jeanette Moore, on home leave from their Missionary post at Kasganj, India, will be special guests at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church’s Brotherhood evening, Thursday, Nov. 10th. At 8 p.m., the Moores will show slides of their life in India.
A covered dish supper will welcome the Moores at 7 p.m., in the church assembly hall. Anyone wishing to meet the visitors informally is invited to bring a vegetable or meat dish, a salad, or a dessert. Some may wish to bring a traditional Indian dish.
The public is invited. Mt. Lebanon is located on Rt. 522 at Scrabble, south of Woodville.
