Mr. and Mrs. Harry Byron Williams of Biloxi, Mississippi announce the engagement of their daughter, Robin Charlene Williams, to William Matthew Anderson of Amissville. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lee Anderson, also of Amissville.
Miss Williams’ maternal grandparents are George A. Lamey of North Biloxi and the late Gladys F. Vesely of Hattiesburg. Paternal grandparents are Mrs. Tom L. Williams, also of North Biloxi and the late Roger L. Williams.
The bride-elect graduated from d’Iberville High School in 1979 and from University of Southern Mississippi in 1981 with a bachelor of science in home economics education. She was awarded her master’s degree in home economics in 1982. She is employed at Our Lady Academy in Bay St. Louis.
The prospective bridegroom’s maternal grandparents are the late Mrs. Alberta Cox Simms and the late Howard C. Simms. Paternal grandparents are the late Mrs. Frances Marie Anderson and the late William Grover Anderson. His great-grandmother is Mrs. Margaret Faidley of McLean.
He is a member of the U.S. Air Force, serving with the Airborne Warning and Control Systems, and is stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Okla. He is also enrolled in the electronic computer and switching systems military technical training program.
The couple will be married Saturday, January 7, 1984, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Biloxi, Mississippi
