It’s almost all over but the voting.
Next Tuesday, polls will open at 6 a.m. and a few hours after the close of balloting at 7 p.m., the citizens of Rappahannock will have a new commonwealth’s attorney, a new sheriff and at least one new face on the board of supervisors.
We’ve had two forums that offered voters the opportunity to meet and question candidates. We’ve had the candidates’ responses to detailed questionaires published in the Rappahannock News. Checking a box on the ballot next Tuesday shouldn’t be a shot in the dark; information has been available for an informed electorate to make an intelligent choice.
