I wish to comment on the recent trial by jury of Diane Kidwell. It should be understood initially that I am proud to be a member of this community as represented by the 12-member jury.
Mrs. Saltonstall made a public staement that the county had regressed. I give her room for a 100-year margin of error. Her ideas of justice and fair play appear to date to the Stone Ages.
I am distressed by some factions who feel their personal view of themselves gives them pre-eminent rights to dictate to others and force their views on the general public with no questions asked. Then when their own views are needed to apply to themselves—indeed it is unhandy. The “Good Book” deals with all the conditions in which man is likely to find himself, from
