To the editor:
What kind of law do we have in Rappahannock County? What kind of justice? WTiy can some people kill other people and go free? Yet when someone else breaks their probation, they’re given time and lots of it?
One of the Ten Commandments says “Thou shalt not kill” and another says “Thou shalt not steal.” Yet thou can kill and go free but if thou steals, thou shall be punished.
Was money or racism the cause of Mrs. Kidwell being set free? In my brother’s case, racism was the main reason he went to jail. And my brother received six years just for breaking his probation—not for murder.
