With snow covering up the source of their food, most local birds are desperate for nourishment. You can help save your backyard bird population by supplying food, not only on snowy days, but throughout the cold weather.
The National Wildlife Federation has some tips for bird lovers, both on the type of food and the type of feeder that will benefit them most.
