Circuit court judge John Alexander spoke with several youthful offenders in the October 11 session of general district court on the importance of paying court fines and costs.

“Not paying your car payments won’t end you up in jail.” Alexander told Rory Sinclair Williams when Williams said he could not afford both court fines and ear payments.

Alexander suspended the fine and told Williams to pay the costs or come back to court on the lbth to tell why.

“The court doesn’t conduct business over the telephone." Alexander told Michael Todd Brown amj Toby Erwin Schreinder after he asked each why a previous court date was missed
