The Sedar is a ritualized feast central to the celebration of the Passover holiday. Each food included in the feast is symbolic of the Exodus. The unleavened bread, or Matzah, is reminiscent of the Jews leaving Egypt so quickly at the moment of redemption that they had no time to allow their bread to leaven.
