Ambulatory services are all types of hospital services that patients receive without being admitted to the hospital. These services are also known as outpatient services and include laboratory, x-ray, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, emergency, cardiopulmonary services, and outpatient surgery. CT Scans, nuclear scans, ultrasound, and mammography are among the outpatient services provided by the radiology department. The cardiovascular department also performs stress tests, echocardiography, and electrocardiograms.
