entered in this race, also. Star Billing and Naughty Hugo, both horses which have placed first and second on this season’s point-to-point circuit, are slated to run.

The novice timber race is packed with possible winners, 17 in all, including Stag, winner at Blue Ridge and third at Piedmont, and Tingles Image who has captured a timber win and two seconds.

The following race is a hurdle for maidens, so no entries can boast wins over the brush.

Four O’Clock Fox has made an impressive show of his ability to run fast, winning two flat races on the season circuit. Also, j^ord Never, who captured a turf win and a third in a maiden hurdle, will run.

The sixth race continues a heated contest that has been fought out in earnest by owners over solid timber obstacles as they vie for the Seven Comers Championship.

Only one series leader is in the running for this race, Dr. William Russell and his mount Marat. This winning team captured the championship last year and it is up to the newcomers to take it away since one year’s aging hasn’t diminished their performance.

The open hurdle race will host a sure bet — Essayer. Essayer has captured four consecutive wins this season for his Middleburg owner Dee Dee Bondurant.

Finally, two flat races will round off the day — a maiden and then an open flat race, both over 1V2 miles.
