CMH AUXILIARY

Every day ladies dressed in pink and men in red jackets come to their jobs at CMH. These special people are members of the Culpeper Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and the work they perform is as important to the functioning of the hospital as the work of the regular hospital staff.

In 1986 the Auxiliary established a new service. Greeters, as they are known, work near the admitting office to assist patients who are arriving at CMH to get to their rooms or to guide patients to departments within the hospital for tests.

Other auxilians work on the nursing units, reception desk, switchboard, or in the Gift Shop, Coffee Shop, Thrift Shop, and the emergency department.
