The first race kicks off at noon when younger members of the ranks of racing fans get their chance in the irons. Three races may be the order of the day since 17 juniors are signed up to run.
The next races are for the adults and the ladies will lead off the pack. The ladies will mount their timber horses to compete in a fast-paced three miles. Included in the 17 entries is series leader Eva Dahlgren who will ride her dependable horse Ahwaz.
Close behind Ms. Dahlgren for points is Michele Rouse who has entered two possible mounts for the running — her husband’s Anxious Talker and Cinzano.
