Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Kendall are spending several days with Mrs. Thelma Sells in Salem.

Ashton Burke of Warrenton hadluncheon Wednesday with hismother Mrs. Charlie Burke. Guests Sunday afternoon of Mrs. Burke were her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Burke of Front Royal.

Bobby Frazier of Castleton visited Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark and family Sunday.

Bobbie Jolene Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown, had ear surgery at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton on Wednesday morning. We are glad to report she is doing just fine.

Mr. and Mrs. James Beatty and son Randy of Point O’Woods, Front Royal, visited the Browns Thursday evening.

Ms. Betty Menefee of Warrenton visited her mother Mrs. Frances Eubank on Tuesday and they had lunch at Brambles.

Johnny Eubank and his mother Mrs. Frances Eubank visited her sister Mrs. Nanny Chris in the Luray Hospital on Wednesday. En f route home they had lunch at the Pizza Hut.

The Rappahannock County Garden Club will once again offer the Frances J. Leonard Memorial Scholarship grants to graduating seniors of Rappahannock County High School for the purpose of continuing their education.

One grant in the amount of $1,500.00 will be given as well as one grant of $500.00.

Applications for grants are available at the Guidance Department in the high school. All applications must be returned to the Guidance Department by April 15.
