Ophthalmologist Dr. Russell Brear is opening the eyes of many whose sight was impaired by cataracts.
With corneal transplants, Dr. Brear repairs the vision of people whose corneal membranes have become cloudy from injury. This surgery is highly successful, achieving greater than 90% success rate. Following surgery, vision gradually improves as the cornea heals.
