With the hospital's commitment to proceed with the facility improvement project, the CMH Foundation began plans for a campaign to raise the necessary funds and established The Campaign for CMH. The purpose of the campaign is to seek pledges for gifts to help accomplish the improvements without increasing patient fees or the indebtedness of the hospital.

As General Chairman, Giles H. Miller, Jr., of Culpeper leads the volunteer campaign committee in asking the community to help the hospital fulfill its mission of high quality health care in our community.

From the inception of the hospital, many people in our service area have generously supported the work of the hospital in providing essential health services in our area. Individuals and corporations contribute to annual and capital campaigns, and volunteers from the community serve as board and auxiliary members.

Providing excellent health care takes substantial funding, and since revenue from patient fees does not cover the costs of providing hospital services to patients or the capital equipment that is needed, CMH needs the help of our friends to continue to be current with technical advances.

For information on the Campaign for CMH or other ways of making a gift, please call the Foundation office at 829-4307. Your contributions may be sent to the CMH Foundation, P.O. Box 803, Culpeper, Va. 22701.
