Rappahannock News Staff Writer

The Rappahannock Planning Comipission approved several amendments to the zoning ordinance and voted to recommend to the Board of Supervisors that they be adopted.

The supervisors will vote on these amendments following a public hearing at their regular meeting on Nov. 5.

Several of the proposed amendments apply to family subdivisions. Under this provision a parcel in existence since 1973 can be divided into as many as five lots by dividing it among family members, and the lots can be as small as two acres.
