On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution met at the Culpeper United Methodist Church for its first meeting of the 1990-1991 year, with Mrs. Carlyle Crigler, Regent, convening it. The hostesses were Mrs. James A. Weaver and Miss Barbara Weaver.
The speaker of the afternoon was Army Major General Joe W. Rigby, who is in charge of the Materiel Command and is stationed at the Pentagon. He spoke of the U.S. Constitution, the oldest living document in the world, and that it had changed the course of mankind in its 203-year history.
