William C. Latham, president of the Northern Virginia 4-H Education Center, in Front Royal, has announced that the center’s director, John E. Dooley, has accepted the position of executive director with the Virginia 4-H foundation in Blacksburg, effective Jan. 1.
Mr. Latham said, “John has brought what was once only a dream to fruition for the many supporters of 4-H. His vision and leadership skills will be sorely missed. We wish him the best in his new endeavor and are grateful that 4-H will continue to be the beneficiary of his energy and talents.”
Mr. Dooley, who has been with the center in Front Royal since March, 1982, has been instrumental in the development of innovative program opportunities for the youth and adults of Northern Virginia. He
