snow showers Nov. 11. There will be some more light snow showers the next several weeks and the first snow fall of any accumulation should
be Dec. 23 and 24. “That’s right, we should have a very nice white Christmas,” according to Prof. O’Toole.
Temperatures for November, January and March should be normal and more on the warmer side this winter. However, December and February are predicted to be very cold and below the normal.
With regard to precipitation, Prof. O’Toole predicts a very wet spring as March, April and May will be very rainy. Except for those three months, we can expect 1991 to be normal and more on the drier side than the past several years.
In August. Prof. O’Toole feels there .will be a dry spell and very warm temperatures. Therefore, if you’re planning to go to the beach, August 1991 is most likely the month to go. He feels the dry spell and warm temperatures in August will come too late to have any adverse affect on farm crops.
