If our defense buildup continues and the deficit thing keeps growing, we’re all going to be in deep doo doo.
Discussion: There are lots more facts, but they would be redundarit. Instead, I would close by addressing the argument that SDI, coupled with a strengthened U.S. military, was largely responsible for saving us from nuclear attack and the threat of Soviet military adventures, and the notion that further “profit” from our investment was realized in the collapse of the Communist Eastern European bloc nations.
