Eighteen students under the leadership of Roger Flinchum, social studies teacher at RCHS, are participating in the “Fall 1990 Stock Market Game,” co-sponsored by the Virginia Tech Department of Agricultural Economics, the Virginia Council on Economic Education, and the Rappahannock County 4-H office.
The Stock Market Game, which is an official 4-H project, is used throughout Virginia as a classroom enrichment program. “We’re very pleased that Mr. Flinchum has five teams of 18 students at RCHS participating this year,” said Tommy Williams, Extension Agriculture Agent. “Last spring we had teams at both RCHS and Wakefield, one of Mr. Finchum’s t,eam won a state award,” he added.
