Halloween haunted house
The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will sponsor a “Halloween Haunted House" at the fire hall on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. The community is invited to bring its little ghosts and goblins and take a tour with the volunteers. There will be no admission charge, and refreshments will be served.
Murder mystery at School House
The School House Restaurant in Flint Hill will present a murder mystery dinner on Wednesday, Oct. 31. The evening begins promptly at 7 p.m. with a social hour, during which clues will be gathered. The mystery will continue, and perhaps be solved, as the guests enjoy a three-course meal. According to proprietor Sheila O'Brien, in 1768 there was a murder committed in the old school house, and it is said the ghost of Phil Boleyn still walks the floors, plotting his revenge.
