Pizza dinner at RCES
The seventh grade class at Rappahannock County Elementary School will sponsor a pizza dinner at the school on Friday, Oct. 26 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event, which will benefit the class trip to Williamsburg, is being held in conjunction with the PTO's Fall Fair. Dance In Amlssvllle
The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring a dance on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the fire hall. Eddie Huff and Tarragon will provide the music. Horseshoe tournament
As promised, the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department is holding a second horseshoe tournament this Saturday, Oct. 27. Registration will be held at noon, and the fee is $15 per team. Trophies will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams.
Teachers meeting rescheduled
The Rappahannock County Retired Teachers Association will meet at Washington Baptist Church on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m.
