Gallery offers classes
The Middle Street Gallery in Washington is offering a series of classes, seminars and trips for members and the public at large. They include art for young people, drawing and painting for young people, a watercolor painting class and a fiber art workshop. Radio'On the Air'
The Rappahananock Players will present “On the Air,” an original production and recreation of the Golden Age of Radio at the Gay Street Theatre in Washington on Oct. 26 and 27. The production will feature original music and soundtracks from the period, and the audience is invited to come dressed in 1920-40’s attire to become part of the production. Food for body and spirit
Toni White will be guest tarot card reader at Mountainside Market in Washington on Oct. 27 from noon to 5 p.m. Donations will be accepted for readings, which Ms. White says, “are like mirrors which help you to see into yourself, show hidden aspects of the present, and aid your spiritual growth.” Call 675-3120 for further information. Spaghetti supper
The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company will sponsor an all-youcan-eat spaghetti supper on Saturday, Nov. 10 beginning at 5 p.m. at the fire hall. Tickets are $5 for adults, children under 12 free.
