Pallbearers were Roger Rutherford, Buddy Brown, Charles Brown, Jack Rutherford, Ricky Menefee, Robert Pullen and Richard Menefee.

Betty Newcomb
Betty Lou Newcomb, 48, of Lexington die 1 Oct. 19 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington.
Mrs. Newcomb was born Jan. 7, 1942 ir Rappahannock County, the daughter of Elmer and Beulah Dwyer Bailey. She was married to the late Charlie Newcomb.
Survivors in addition to her parents include a son, Lawrence Newcomb of Lexington and a brother, Edward Bailey of Culpeper.
A graveside service was held on Oct. 22 at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. William Smith officiating.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mildred Brown
Mildred Smith Brown died Oct. 18 at her residence in Norman.
Survivors include a daughter, Michele Jameson; a son-in-law, Charles Jameson; two grandchildren, Kimberly and Kelly Jameson of Culpeper; two sisters, Eleanor Risher of Washington, D.C. and Laveme Daniels of Nashville, Tenn.; and a multitude of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held at Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville on Oct. 21 with the Rev. Joseph Moore officiating.
