Students hold apple sales
The Rappahannock Elementary 7th graders will be selling apples, apple jelly and locally produced jams and jellies on U.S. 211-522 at the school bus yard this Saturday.
From 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 26 the 7th graders will be trying to earn money for their annual Williamsburg trip.
SHARE plans Delivery Day
The October Delivery Day for SHARE is 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Washington Baptist Church. All participants can pick up their groceries at that time.
A donation of not more than $ 1 will be appreciated to defer the cost of gas for the two men who drive each month to pick up the groceries.
Participants should also bring their community service vouchers and $13 in cash or food stamps to sign up for next month.
