Donor adds
to giant gift
“Roger,” the anonymous donor whose $100,000 donation kicked of Wakefield Country Day School’s fundraising efforts last week, has added another gift, this time from his corporation, which may increase the overall gift to $250,000 or more.
Because some of the gift consists of stock, the exact value is not now known, according to William Beeton, chairman of the school’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Beeton said the cash has been delivered and the stock is in the hands of the “transfer agent.”
