Instead they move forward with greater determination to take deadly assault weapons out of the hands of the mortal enemies of our law enforcement officials and to stop senseless killing with handguns.
Liberals are not willing to allow the oil conglomerates to dictate the fate of our environment.
Liberals believe that all Americans should have access to medical care and not just those who can afford the astronomical cost of medical insurance. They believe that a nation which spends billions and billions of dollars defending against imaginary enemies in space should not say that it costs too much to provide for the growing number of Americans whose quality of life continues to be eroded by the relentless recession.
Liberals believe that if a woman must make the difficult decision on whether or not to have an abortion she has the right to make her own choice and not be turned over to the state as George Allen recommends.
There are numerous other examples which make it seem clear that George Allen is a Ronald Reagan clone who could never be accused of being a liberal. The Ronald Reagan era is over; America has a new agenda. Kay Slaughter understands that agenda and will be a great congressional representative for the 7th District.
