plan auction
Mary Lou Piacesi, president of the Soroptimist International of Warrenton announced that its major fund raiser for 1991-92 will once again be a Christmas auction.
This year’s affair, the 1991 “Points of Light” auction will be Friday, Dec. 6, at the Warrenton Fire Hall on Broadview Ave. A buffet dinner will begin at 7 p.m. and the auction will begin at 8 p. m.
During the evening, local community service organizations and their outstanding volunteers will be honored as Warrenton’s own points of light. Each volunteer will be presented with a certificate of appreciation for efforts in making a positive difference in our community.
Soroptimist International of Warrenton is celebrating its 40th year of continuous community involvement.
