Mrs. Morris Capps of Clifton’ Forge and en route to Old Towne, Fla. was a Sunday evening visitor of Mrs. Arland Welch at her home “Mountain View.”

The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have worship service at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27. The pastor, the Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the public.

Moe and Evelyn Walker have returned after a vacation trip to San Antonia, Texas where they attended the International Competition of the Sweet Adelines. The Walkers daughter Joyce is a member of the Potomac Harmony Chorus of Arlington who participated in the competition. They also toured Ozark Country, Branson. Mo. (the New Country Music Capitol). Claude and Dana Cook of Culpeper accompanied the Walkers.

Mrs. Shirley Wade of Chantilly was a Saturday and Sunday guest of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard. Mr. and Mrs. Ermine Wade of Alexandria were Saturday visitors. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Patton and Joey of Stephens City were Sunday visitors in the Lillard home.

Mrs. Ethel Lillard was a Thursday dinner guest of her son Ronnie Lillard at Warrenton. Ronnie visited his mother later in the day. Mrs. Bonnie Cameron and girls Carrie and Kayla of Front Royal were guests Sunday of her mother.
