Among those who can get things done in Richmond is Jerry Wood. He is perfectly suited for the job, having both local roots and professional contacts in Richmond.
Those who know Jerry, know what a hard worker he is. He is a small businessman, having run a pharmacy in Warrenton for over 20 years. He has been a member of a number of service organizations, even serving as president of the Optimists Club of Warrenton.
While his opponent has equivocated on the issue of a woman’s freedom of reproductive choice, Jerry Wood as plainly stated that it is not the business of government to get involved in something so private and personal as a woman’s reproductive decisions. He won’t let some ideologue get involved in those decisions.
The choice is clear. If we want people in Richmond and Washington who can get things done, or keep things from being done to us, we need to send people there who are able to work for us. We need to elect Kay Slaughter, Margaret Haynes, Tom Michie and Jerry Wood.
