George Allen, the Republican candidate for Congress from the 7th District of Virginia, has unveiled the second half of his brilliant campaign. % The first half was his claim that his '■ opponent was a (gasp!) liberal. He l never told us what the word liberal ; fneant to him, or why it was bad, or * proved his claim. If you call names, ’ you don’t have to discuss issues. - His second half is that he himself Jis (hurrah!) a conservative. Again, ; he does not say what this word ' means, or why it is good, or prove ' this claim. He promises that if he »takes this magic word to WashingI ton, we will all live happily ever af’ ter.
