Major items of contention include the school’s bleachers, Open Court textbooks, a map of the ancient world and lacrosse goals. Judge Home ruled on some of the items, but others he continued over in order that other witnesses can testify.
Another matter discussed at the hearing is the status of two bank loans secured against Lynn family collateral.
One is a $94,000 loan with First American Bank of Front Royal, the other is a $54,000 loan with F&M Bank.
Wakefield School in Marshall admits it is the “maker” of the F&M loan, but the bank has requested payment by Oct. 25. Pamela Lynn agreed to allow her collateral to remain backing that loan until negotiations between the bank and the Marshall school are complete, said attorney Thomas Logie.
The two sides are scheduled for a November hearing on the merits of the dispute over who should pay the $94,000 loan.
The whole matter was continued until after the Nov. 13 hearing.
