John Quaintance
John Weston Quaintance, 79, of Sperryville, died Thursday, Oct. 17 at Fauquier Hospital.
He was born March 10, 1912 in Woodville, the son of Raymond G. and Lucy Coleman Quaintance.
He was a Coast Guard Veteran having served during World War II.
He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington.
Mr. Quaintance is survived by a sdn, John W. Quaintance III of Philadelphia, Pa. and a daughter, Carol Quaintance of Sperryville. Also by a sister, Mrs. Julia Wood of Woodville and a granddaughter, Jaimee Hammit of Sperryville.
Graveside services were held Sunday, Oct. 20 at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper with the Rev. Jennings W. Hobson III officiating.
