Four candidates for the 7th District seat in Congress spoke to a group of about 100 members of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) at the Culpeper Holiday Inn Monday.
Republican George Allen, Democrat Kay Slaughter and Independents John Torrice Jr. and Don Macleay Jr. answered questions from a three-member AARP panel about health care, Social Security and other national issues.
