Culpeper site of candidates forum
Several area candidates will attend a candidates' forum, 7 p.rlnf. Thursday, Oct. 31 in the Culpeper High cafeteria.
Running for the 7th District seat in Congress are Kay Slaughter, George Allen, John Torrice and Donald Macleay.
Kevin Miller and Margaret Haynes, candidates for the 26th District seat in the House of Delegates, are also scheduled to attend, but Mr. Miller has not confirmed.
Turkeys walk in Old Hollow
The Rappahannock Chapter of the American Heart Association will conduct its annual six-mile "Turkey Walk," 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at the intersection of Route 600 and Route 612 in Old Hollow.

Homecoming set Saturday
The Rappahannock High Homecoming festivities this week include a game, bonfire, all-star flag football, crowning of the queens, Spirit Week events and, of course, the dance Satruday night.
