As the time approaches for the sheriffs election, we would like to endorse Roger Cordani for sheriff. We feel that Roger Cordani would be someone who the citizens could rely upon to carry out the duties of sheriff and always keep the citizens’ well-being and safety as a high priority- ityAs
I was previously employed with the Sheriffs Office for over five years as a deputy, I have worked with Mr. Woodward in many situations and incidents. I feel that he has handled many of these situations with poor judgment on his part, such as the two inmates who escaped a few years ago when very little effort was made to call in extra manpower and State Police canine units to conduct a search for the two inmates. If people are desperate enough to escape from jail, we have no way of knowing what dangers they can impose on the citizens of the county.
