County Democrats had a party last Saturday and particularly enjoyed the fact that it was at White Walnut Hill, the former home of conservative political columnist James J. Kilpatrick, but now the home of Larry and Joy O’Rourke of Washington, D. C. and Woodville.
Ray Vickery, the Democratic candidate for the 10th District Congressional seat, said he believes he has a good chance to defeat incumbent U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf, R-lOth Dist., but 60 percent of the voters are still undecided. “There is a real race going on, but we will have to rely on each other to be involved in the last 30 days,” he said.
